Hypnosis and Art Project

I recently began working on a collaboration project between a few members of The Confluence Art Group and a Professional Certified Hypnotist named George Guarino.  The intention of this collaboration is to create an exhibition where all the artwork is created through the influence of hypnosis. 

One of our goals is to address and break the sensationalist stereotypes that people have in relation to hypnosis. One of the ways we are going to achieve this goal is by having at least one visual artist, and one musician in a hypnotic state creating artwork as a performance piece during the show. The hypnosis and art group meets once a month and is experimental in nature.  We had our first meeting in February 2009.
